Host Your Retreat at Lochwood House
Build your perfect retreat in your own private lochside venue
Designed with retreat leaders in mind
Hosting a retreat is about much more than finding a beautiful venue. You need spaces that work well together, accommodation that's comfortable, and somewhere your guests can switch off from the moment they arrive.
At Lochwood House, we've created a venue where every part of the experience has been thoughtfully considered. From morning yoga in the geodome to evenings around the fire pit, the different spaces work together naturally, making it easy for you to create a retreat that's both memorable and effortless to run.
Whether you're hosting your first retreat or you've been leading them for years, we're here to help you create an experience your guests will remember.
Whether you're looking for a retreat chef, massage therapist, local activities or transport recommendations, we're happy to share our trusted network of local suppliers and help you plan a retreat that runs smoothly from start to finish.
This is your first retreat? We're just as happy to help.
Hosted dozens? We'll simply provide the space and support you need.
The Geodome
A space to move, relax and connect
The geodome is where many retreats begin. Overlooking Loch Goil and filled with natural light, it's a flexible space for yoga, Pilates, workshops, creative sessions, talks and group discussions. Fully equipped and available throughout your stay, it gives you the freedom to shape each day around your own retreat.
The Wild Spa
A space to slow down
Whether you're warming up in the sauna, soaking in the wood-fired hot tub or taking a dip in Loch Goil, the Wild Spa gives everyone the chance to relax and enjoy being together.
The Perch
A space to eat together
Shared meals are often where the best conversations happen. Nestled amongst the trees, The Perch is our covered woodland dining space, providing a relaxed setting for breakfasts, lunches, BBQs and long evenings spent around the table together.
The Fire Circle
A space to gather
The Fire Circle has become one of the most memorable parts of many retreats. Whether you're welcoming guests on their first evening, holding an opening or closing circle, sharing reflections or simply enjoying conversation around the fire, it's a space that naturally brings people together.
The House
A space to come together
Beyond your retreat sessions, the house becomes the heart of your stay. Gather around the dining table for shared meals, spend the evening chatting by the fire, enjoy morning coffee overlooking the loch or simply relax in one of the comfortable communal spaces. With exclusive use throughout your stay, the house is yours to enjoy at your own pace.
Loch Goil
A space to breathe
Walk along the shoreline, swim in the loch, paddleboard at sunrise or simply sit with a coffee and enjoy the view. The landscape becomes part of the experience, encouraging everyone to slow down and reconnect.
Accommodation
A place to rest
At the end of the day, your guests can retreat to comfortable en-suite bedrooms giving everyone their own space to unwind and recharge before another day together.
